Try this wonderful protein pina smoothie. Either post or pre workout, or how about as a pep me up before your hectic day ahead... Like all fruit based smoothies try your best in getting the fruits that are in season...
4 slices of pineapple (peeled & sliced)
4 tbsp freshly grated coconut
1 or 2 tbsp of palm sugar syrup
1 scoop of mango flavored protein powder
4 mls dairy free coconut milk.
Blend pineapple and coconut with half the liquid for one minute, now add your palm sugar, protein powder and rest of liquid and blend for a further one minute. Serve in tall chilled glasses....
